Challenger is for sale again . Car runs and lot drives, needs exhaust & tires to be road worthy. I have installed a new gas tank and sending unit, as well as rear shocks. Please PM with Questions. Thanks "Cheese"

I think it depends on how bad you want to sell it. The offer is reasonable.

Challenger June 002 (1024x768).jpgI would not have offered $9k. I bought my A66, matching #'s, 4 speed, rallye gauge car for $18k last year. Oh that was in fresh paint with about $9k in resto parts. I had to bolt it together and the engine and rear axle need rebuilds but the paintwork is worth $15k easily. I know it hurts but I think you probably should have taken the $9k.
Car is primed on her belly, sale included new interior, marker lights, tail lights, NOS headlight doors, two nice grilles, new fuel and brake lines, rebuilt #'s trans, all the correct parts for the 340 including correct rad, carb, manifolds etc.

Cheese, since you asked for our opinion,I'll give. Nine thousand was very fair for a car that needs re-stored. I just paid $4500 for a '73 'Cuda numbers matching 340. It needs a couple pieces of sheet metal re-placed, however those were included. Your Challenger is probably worth a little more. Like one said just depends on how bad you need money or space or how bad someone wants the car. Anyway goodluck. I'm sure you'll find a buyer and come to agreeable terms.

I sold my 1970 Challenger A66 car about 2 years ago for $9,000. Mine was very solid to start but had all metal work done. It came will redone seats, new fuel lines, brake lines, carpet, the numbers engine was rebuilt and detailed, suspension was all rebuilt, new tires, It was burnt orange on burnt orange basically needed paint and reassembly. I started at $12k and after a couple of months finally sold it for $9,000. So I too think you should've grabbed the $9,000. Good luck.
