See the attached photo - can someone decode this 4 speed and tell me what year and car this came out of. I knew it was not numbers matching when I bought my chall and the trany is leaking so its coming out for a rebuild.
Do 383 cubic inch RT bell housing have additional bolts on each side like the photos show or is the bell housing wrong ? 2 additional bolt holes on driver side & one additional on passenger side.

Trans case is from a 1969 B-body. Everything else can swap in that case so no idea what it is from the photos.

The 1970-71 BB bellhousing has bolt pattens for 3 speed and 4 speed. The numbers are behind the trans, So it could be the right one, It should be aluminum, is it?

Yes, it is. Will get the numbers off it when it comes out and update post.
