1973 Quad Black Cuda

Hi All,
I have just purchased a 73 triple black cuda, the guy I bought it from claims its a quad black because he put on the black billboard stripe.
The fender tag or broad cast sheet dose not indicate a stripe on it.
He claims all cuda's automatically got the stripe from the factory.

Can any one help?

any stripe should be on the tag and the sheet even if it was stripe delete although I'm not as familiar with '72 and later so I could be wrong. No ""billboard" in '73 I'm guessing.

Billboard stripe is '71 only

Cuda's had the stripe as part of the package which put the stripe on the fender tag. Even if the stripe was deleted it is on the fender tag as a delete. Barracuda did not have a stripe as part of the package. Stripes could be ordered optional on Barracuda. If the stripe is not on the fender tag he could have a Barracuda. Then again, with Mopar, there are exceptions to every rule.
