1974 Cuda - How many of these did they make?

I am looking at buying a 1974 Cuda 360 auto
Serial number starts as BS23L4B------
Just out of curiosity how many of these did they make?
I won't have fender tag numbers until I look at it.

I don't have my books in front of me... actually, Pop has 'em and they're probably in a box somewhere, but the total model year was something like 6400 for 'Cuda's and Barracudas. Working from a faulty memory here, but I'm pretty sure numbers were about an even split between the two packages.

Someone probably has the books in front of 'em, so they can check and verify.

I was told that the 74' were only built for half a year. Any truth to this?

The truth is relative when talking about production info now almost 40 years old. Some will say yes ad some will say maybe.

The math doesn't add up. Unless there were some 6cyl.

Nope. No six cylinder made that year but with my glasses on there were 6,745 318 built not 6,795. Thanks for fixing me.
