I have always re-used the bolts but if they are available it is probably a good idea to change them. I can't remember now but I don't think you have to pull the ring gear off the Sure Grip unit. Best source for parts and advice is DoctorDiff. His name is Cass and he's an expert on this stuff and easy to get along with. He has a web site. I would inspect all bearings and gears before ordering any parts so you get all you need at once.
