69 440 engine decoding, help please

Hi, I have a 440 cid engine and for a couple of weeks now, I have been reading and looking on many forums, in books, and all over to find out more about my engine. Here is what I found on the engine ID pad:

E440
(upside down 1) (a "B" layed on its side)
10 23 HP

then on the passenger side on the oil pan rail there is a number:

CH43K9C145081

The engine casting number is located on both sides of the block and is
2536430 - 6 and has a date code of 10 * 4 * 68

I would like someone to decode the information or tell me where I can go and see a more full list of information than yearone, and many sites on the web.

It's a K-code non hp out of a '69 Chrysler C-body 4-door hdtp according to the vin#.
The letter B indicates both rods and mains are undersized by .01in.

Thanks for the info..... is there a reson why the ID plate is stamped HP and the block really is not?
BTW, now I can buy some parts....

It could be an HP 300 car motor. If the car is out there. I'm sure the owner would make it worth while for you to sell it to them.
