Well, that deal with the hole emboss is just plain weird. Must be a 71 thing. I wonder if someone ran that operation backwards and it just didn't get caught for a whole model year?

Very nice work, BTW.

And this is someone who has really been waiting for this. He always walked over to it and wanted in but without floors it was merely a wish.

I just had to do a little more before I stopped. :) I mounted the console brackets and lower rear seat clamps today. It's just for fitting but it sure makes me happy.

Nice work. Same rust on my Challenger except I cut most of it off and added a Viper frame! :)

That was a very thorough repair for an damage area that is commonplace on Challengers and Cudas. Your pics also helped out in clearly showing how the repair was made. I am looking at my own Challenger repairs in this area, though luckily, there is a little less rust. Your info is very helpful.

Yesterday, the original engine was placed in the same room as the car. A reuniting of pieces from a 20 or so year separation! :) Needless to say, it was a great day for me!

It has been a long time since I looked here too! The only thing I've done for the 71 is collect parts. The most recent was side scoops, hood scoops and a set of Magnums. Man these look good on Challengers!
