I just purchased my first e body and noticed the front end looks "offset". What I mean is the pass side tire is sunken probably 2" or so deeper into the fender well than the drivers side. (using the tire sidewall as a reference). Is this normal, as I'm not too familiar and can't find any info.

When you are on level ground, measure from the ground up to the top of the wheel well. If the measurements are different, you can adjust the torsion bar up or down to get them equal. If there is a huge difference, then you may need to have it aligned again...since torsion bar adjustment affect the alignment.

If you mean that looking at the car from the side, one tire seems to be deeper into the fender well than the other, 2" is huge. Have someone follow to see if the car is tracking straight down the road. If not, you may have a car with subframe damage from an accident. Most of the time the sub frame can pulled straight at a body shop.

First thing to check is the backspacing on the front rims it could be that you just ahve mismatched wheels .
Second the front end sheet metal does have side to side ajustment so all of the metal could be shifted to one side .
Third the frame could be tweaked , the best way to ceck to see if the front end is square is to measure diagonally from consistant points & see if you get the same measurements
