Just got my T/A back from mechanic who adjusted my 6 pack and tuned the engine. He is a retired mopar mechanic who spent much of his life working on these cars. He says however that he is not a transmission mechanic and my car has an issre with the auto trans. He says the car moves about 10 feet in first and quickly goes into second. Even when putting the shift selector in first, the car goes into second. He checked all linkage adjustments etc. Says he has not seen this issue before. The transmission was supposedly rebuilt just before I bought the car. Has anyone ever heard of this issue before? Thx.
