does it have 2 attachment holes, or just one?
If it has 2, what is the dimension between the holes?
Thanks
Would you share your thoughts on why you are asking about how many mounting holes ?
I'm just wanting to get a little more info on these interior parts, especially 1970. Thanks!

The A pillars went through changes through the model years.
1970, up until about April of 1970 used trim that had the wider holes.
Then they moved up the bottom hole, so the second generation (April 70 through 71) had holes that are about 12”/11.75” apart.
Then (I think about 1973) they eliminated the top hole and just had the bottom hole

Thanks!
Explains why the ones I had did not fit a 1970. They only had one mounting hole. 1970 uses two screws. Same part number on the pillar post.
I also found out the inner door window sweep mounts differently from 1970 to 1974. 1970 doors were "notched" to allow the trim to clip into place as later years were pop riveted on. Alot of changes from 1970 only applications.

Yes, there is a significant list of 70-only details.

Of course the a pillar trim fits, it’s just whether someone is concerned about originality…and early 70 cars wouldn’t have the hole location in the pillar itself for the moved lower hole in the trim.
I’ve seen that the hole in the steel shows up around March of 70
