Ok, getting exciting now. Stripes installed. One step closer. Chrome mirrors, but suppose to be body color according to fender tag. Kinda like the chrome ones. Yeah...I think they actually are 71 mirrors but, what happened to build it the way you want.

Lookin' good! Since there is other chrome and polished stainless on the car, the chrome mirrors look just fine and "tie in". And I'm very jealous of the rear window louvers.

I always liked the window Louvers. Not on the fender tag but...
That was my same thought on the chrome mirrors, they kind of blend in with the other chrome. I need to put the wheel well chrome on to finish the look.
1970 had the same "One Year" thing only going on with the mirrors. I think they only came with drivers side and had to pay extra for a different size passenger side mirror. I'm seeing no documentation for chrome mirrors on any AAR.

Great job on the stripes! That is a high anxiety job for sure, I've done several graphics applications and it's never easy.

I used the later style mirrors on my 70 Cuda also, I think they look better and they are easier to source. I went the opposite of you though and went with body color mirrors.
