am/fm radio

My 72 am/fm E body radio quit working, I had it redone by Wards radio years ago. Where is a reliable place to get it repaired or upgraded or should I just go modern and buy a repro?

Yes, you can hear it turn on thru the speakers but no sound on either am or fm. I have another antenna that I'm going to try as the end that plugs into the radio is a bit loose.
I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone the new am/fm conversion route with their radio and are they happy with the results

I had my original AM converted to AM/FM and added a jack to connect to my phone.
