Anyone have leaf spring relocation kit and a factory rear sway bar?

I installed the 1" leaf spring relocation kit from Doctor Diff. Working on a 70 Cuda with factory rear sway bar and a 66 B body 8 3/4" rear end, which is narrower than the E body rear end to allow for a wider tire.

I can narrow the factory bar, ditch it, or install an aftermarket kit.

Advice?

I have a not yet installed relocation kit, and a car with a factory rear sway bar. Where is there interference? When I was scoping it out, there seemed to be room to make it work. Thanks for any information you can add.

I have a stock E body rear sway bar on my 70 challenger with Dr. Diff's offset rear hangers and a B body Dana 60. I have Accurate LTD's 2.5 inch exhaust system. It is configured as stock and fit easily around everything. There's no need to heat the bar, just put it in a press and bend it. ( compare distance between sway bar eyelets and mounted sway bar end link plates on the springs to find total amount of bend needed, half it, mark the center of the bar, measure out to the eyelet, then bend each side the same amount,) jess

Making up some offest links is another option. Not mine, but would be a clean solution if you are handy.

My son-in-law and his employee bent the sway bar using an outline in a piece of cardboard for comparison. Then placed the bend near the eyelet facing down in a shop press. They had a T-shaped piece of round solid steel against the inside of the bend and pushed against it.

Both sides needed bent 1 1/8" inwards. Went from 46 1/4" between eyelets to 44". I moved the springs inward 1" per side with the Doctor Diff kit.

I had a shop that just welded a tab on the mount so it would line up.

Those are nice, and it looks like they will pretty much center themselves where they need to be!

Yes mate they do that exactly, fortunately I have a lathe so very easy to make then just heated them up and offset them 1” good to go
