BB motor mounts install

Just put BB motor mounts on K frame and noticed that the top mount which sits on the rubber mount wont fit flush,there is a gap=1/16".is that ok or shall i just drill mount hole as it will then fit flush on rubber mount?

Check out the description of motor mount fitment on 440 Source's link below. This might be the situation you're seeing. I've had similar issues in the past with lousy motor mounts (which the majority of the stock type rubber are now!).

very helpfull ,thanks for that info,yes i thought it was a bad fit,ill make it work,glad i asked before presumed it was ok n put engine in!!!

You can file (grind) the interference spot(s) so it fits nice and snug.

Yes ill enjoy a good ole file eh,makes a change from grinding and setting myself on fire!!!!
