body grommets

I ordered a new set of grommets. Where do the colored ones go? There are two orange and two gray. The rest are black.

Welcome to the site. The orange ones go in the trunk for access to the rear shock mounts. The gray ones go in the trunk floor extension drop offs for the lower drain holes (right behind the rear wheels). Tell us and show us what you are working on.

What color was it and what color will it be? I had a 73 rally with a 340 4 speed that I installed a 440 in. I loved that car. Mine was gun metal grey and like a fool I painted it red.

Was blue i think. Plum crazy when I got it, I plan to paint it back plum crazy. This was a 340 3 speed. Had it for about five years now and fixing it for my son. 1967 440 .03 over. Just had the engine refreshed with bearings and head work and balanced. EXCITED!!!
