Okay I have a restored Challenger with completely new wiring. I'm trying to figure out why the brake lights aren't working. The flashers and the turn signals both work I tested the on the brake pedal switch and that tested good and there is a pink wire and white wire going to the switch. The pink wire goes to the flasher relay the end the white wire seems to go to the steering column according to the schematic. Anyone have any ideas on what I should look at next?

Check the connector at the cigar lighter. Seriously. The pink splices with a red there and can short and/or ground out. You can have a bad turn signal switch, too. All lights run through that and a bad one can wreak havoc.

Two things to check. As quapman said the brake lights are powered thru the turnsignal switch. Even though your wiring is new , you must make sure to have good grounds. Especially if the car was painted. Scrape to bare metal where ever there is a ground. Also make sure to coat all of your wire connections with Dielectric grease. This water proofs and helps prevent any corrosion in the connections.
