Bumper bolts

I have seem lots of stainless bumper bolts for sale for my 70 Barracuda that are 3/8" x 16, but I have heard that the "proper" bolt is a "7/16" x 14. Tried to find details in the parts manual but no luck.

Can someone enlighten me as to what is correct?

The bumper bolt threads for the face bar on a 1970 Barracuda, and most other domestic Chrysler product cars from the 60s-80s, is 3/8" x 16. Dodge trucks can have 7/16" x 14 thread size and the head of the bolt is physically bigger.
