I need the professionals help please. For the life of me I can not remember where these go on the 70 Barracuda. Anyone know?
Thanks folks.
Thanks folks.
I've torn my 72 down to nothing and I don't recall these parts. These appear to be a left and right thing. The "U" shaped opening to me screams rubber vibration mounting. Does this car have an AC condenser. I looked but did not find this bracket in the Classic Industries parts book either.
The only other thing I thought of was a brake line mount. These parts appear to be exposed in the under carriage areas. SFEbody thought fender bracket but these do not resemble mine. Mine have a square hole and an S bend.
Good luck.
Those look like the brackets that bolt to the outside horizontal surface coming down from the cowl and onto the underside of the fenders.
They are rear valence brackets, early build only. My October car has them. I ended up making a set, need 4. Have extrasThey look similar to the headlight to radiator support bracket on a 70 challenger
Set I madeYes, they are rear valence reinforcement brackets. The factory service manual shows them under "Stone Deflector" in Chapter 23 Body and Frame.
Discontinued in first few months of production.
