I am planning a pro tour build at some point in the future. I love all of the parts that are available for the 1st gen Camaro, but have owned a '71 Cuda and loved the car. Now that a full chasis is made for the 'Cuda, I am leaning that way

my question is: is body from the firewall back, the same for the 70,71,72,73,and 74?
I know that the tail panels are different, but are the bodies?
It would be much more cost effective to build a pro street '71 using a '74 body

sorry if that offends anyone!
thanks

The only difference that I know of is the side marker lights are different. 70-71 had longer thin side markers that were installed from the back side. 72 up had surface mounted side markers.

True. Externally 70-74 the same except for tail panel and grille assemblies, sidemarker lights, some differences internally as far as trunk springs, hood internal structure for crumpling on impact. But as a shell, no difference externally.

I believe in 1970, the rockers attached to the floorpans differently then all other years.

But a full body is not available for an e body! Unless you mean that all of the parts are available to make one.
