Difference between Pins or Screws to hold windshield trim fasteners/clips?

I was looking at different fasteners kits. Grill kits, fender kits, heater box kit on and on. I noticed the windshield trim fasteners. Anybody know the difference on the " pin type" or "screw" type for the windshield? I haven't ran across that one. Specifically for 1970 cuda.

pins is better because are welded on the car and holds better the fastener and the molding

try R/T specialist---that's where i god all the bits and pieces for trim and weather stripping

A 70 Cuda used screws to hold the clips. Take your trim and glass out to see them. There will be just holes there. They have special screws on the clips to seal the screws. The 71 e bodies had the studs welded in and the clips hooked to the studs. They would rust off as well so you had to use a pop riveted stud to hook the clip onto.

Thank you. That make sense and confirms with i was kinda thinking. My aar project simply has holes.
