I found these bolts in my spare bin and I am trying to bolt my bumper brackets on my 70 challenger. The heads appear to be the same as on my aar but the threads are different. Are these proper bracket bolts or are they for something else. I assume with different thread sizes they both are not correct. Let me know what you guys think. And if anybody has 3 or 4 bracket bolts pm I would like to buy them thanks

The thread on the one on the left looks like it is same dia and pitch, but the crests are boogered up pretty well between the washer and nut. You sure it is different?

I put wd40 on both and the nuts screw on one bolt easily and not on the other, might be because it’s been messed up but I was just using my hand to screw them on, maybe I’ll try it with a wrench. Are they OE for a 70 Challenger?

Get a tap and die set and clean the threads up... personally, it's a tool set i can't live without working on old cars and more than pays for itself if you're trying to use old bolts like that. If you're not worried about original bolts go buy new ones at the hardware store
