My first Mopar was a 1975 Plymouth Fury Sport. 318 Automatic - I’ve grumbled 1000 times over selling it in the 80’s.

My younger brother had a beautiful 1964 Sport Fury as his first car. I learned how to drive on my father's 1951 Dodge Wayfare with a 3 on the tree. The first car I bought was a 1953 Dodge with a Red Ram Hemi. I paid $25 for it.

I was about 14, my cousin was 16. Remember we were always looking at his hot rod magazines and others. I have to start out with when my cousins had a 67 Belvedere convertible. It wasn't a GTX. But he put a 340 4sp in it. It put you back in the seat when banging the gears. He did some work to it. Good times cursing. What a blast! That's what infected me with Mopar or No Car.

[Challenger RTA]

In the mid 70's got this for winter car. 69 Chrysler Newport.Looked just like the pictured. WELL I did put Keystone Klassics all the way around. That was the extent of the

WAR - Low Rider experience for me. My cousin that had the Belvedere had it on 8 track.​

and a course a good cassette stereo.That's when I was introduced to bulkhead connector not keeping a state of charge on the battery. Had a battery in the trunk to jump start it. If ACC where used with discretion it would run all day. Then put the charger on it to bring it up for the next day. After I got the car that summer when cursing around town. I meet a guy that had a A blue 71 Newport convertible. Went to his place And he had 2 71 challengers. One was a 71 Challenger convertible 318 auto the other was a 71 318 auto that he put on a Blazer frame and made it 4WD.

I sometimes wonder if the police were issued a low rider things would be a little more chilled. The cops were I was at where pretty good but there's always that one. That's when the garage I worked at I got to know most of the State police. Part of the garage was a car wash. Now I look back on that building the other side was a bus garage. The side we had was every part of 50'x200'. I'm the kind of guy that's not envious of an appendage but when I see a garage that size!

1974 Dodge Dart. One of my younger brother had 3 of them. 70,73 and a 74. When I found out he traded it I went and bought the 74. He liked the 70 best. An other brother had a 69 Dart GT 340. When driving around a turn in town. My better half slid out the passenger door and landed on the road in the sitting position. Good thing I wasn't going fast and no traffic. We knew the door didn't latch all the time. Bad hinges I think. From then on made sure we used the seat belt. One like this 318 auto.

This was my first barracuda. It was 1992 and I was 20 years old. I believe it was a 73 but it could have been a 74 ..

Now I have this 1970 Cuda AAR clone or "tribute"

Out of the 70+, probably 80 something Mopars now that I mentioned above before. I have had 5 E Bodies. Currently, still have 2.

- 1970 Challenger SE 383-4 automatic FC7 black int, factory 8 track and 6 way seat (LA car) sold to a friend 1995 who still owns her!
- 1970 Challenger A66 340 automatic Y1 black int. Only e body still owned (pic below)

There are numerous other E bodies that I picked up many years ago in poor condition that I broke up and sold for parts in the 70's

- 1975 Cutlass Salon coupe; 350 automatic
- 1984 BMW 318 IS 5 speed; a little hauler (BMW rear wheelers w stick were GREAT
- 1992 BMW 325 IS 5 speed; another fun driver
- 1992 BMW 325 I automatic convertible; Picked up w 32k miles
- 2012 Ford Mustang V6. 3.7L DOHC 24 valve with 305 hp(bought new still own)Quick!
- 2018 Ford Ecosport 2L Turbo 4wd. Fun & Practical (transported my A66 340 engine to and from the rebuilder last year!)
