Thank you.Looks fine to me.
That serial number stamping looks good. They used a hand stamp with a holder that held all 8 of the charters so they stamped all 8 charters at once. Also the way I understand it is they stamped the transmission and engine one after the other, after the engine and transmission were mated together. So the serial number on the transmission and engine should be identical. The sixth character (I think it is a "1") should look the same on the trans. The locations of the trans serial numbers depends on the type of trans.
They stamped thousands of these every day and they wore out like anything would being used that much. So that "1" looks like it was getting worn. Anyway there is a lot of info at: mmcdetroit.com

Interesting. Look how poorly the trans is stamped. The 2 is almost off the pad.
How do you read the lower set of stamping starting with PP? There’s a date in there isn’t there?
1 - 1971
B - Hamtramck Plant (built the car)
132153 - Car ID number
PP - New Process Gear Division Plant (built the trans)
833 - Manual 4 spd trans
3133 - 10,000 day calendar, Feb 24 1970
0137 - 137th trans built on Feb 24
Yep, I would agree with that. But maybe New Process built up several trannies ahead of time.Wow. That’s amazing. Thank you.
Pretty early assembly date on trans for a vehicle assembled in September 8, 1970.
