Even with AMD 3" wider wheel tub panels it is the shape and contours of the OEM panels that limits tire sizes. Certain sizes may still rub. If you want the max tire size. Better off making/using your own mini tub or full tubbed kit.

I mini tubbed mine still with stock frame rails.

hi, i bought an old super stock/ them m/p drag car and the rear wheel wells are cut out just around the wheel well lip, back in the day when i was a young man someone made enlarged panels out of fiberglass i think? if i can't find someone that makes them from fiberglass or steel i will have to buy repair panels and enlarge them my self, my car is all ready tubbed on the inside for as big as a tire as you can buy but i wanted to give the quarters the stock looking wheel well look thanks for your reply

With the mini tub and stock wheel wheel openings. I am able to run a 315/60/15 (30" tall) Drag Radials or a 29.5x10.5W slicks.

Back in the day, you took a metal wash tub about 3 feet in diameter and cut it in half and welded a half into each side. That's why it's called "tubbing".
