I always thought you other fellow e body fans were my age or older. I'm 53 and being a georgia native (always lived in a 7 mile radius my whole life) some of the band's you listen to sounds like head banging stuff. I'm pretty open minded.I'm a Dylan fanatic a huge allman brothers fan. And a big fan of early R.E.M. the last 2 have deep georgia roots. I enjoy folly country stuff..Americana roots music...listen to some Robert Johnson..a huge influence on Dylan. Two up and coming singers are brandy clark and sarah jarosz. Sarah is from Texas has a BEAUTIFUL voice and a great songwriter.mainstream radio does not know what to make of her. Anything made for mass consumption is dumbed down to nothing.that why commercial radio sucks.

By the way HOT RUST BlackBerry smoke is from Georgia the Turner brothers in the band grew up in our neighborhood. Their dad richard had a cool red C2 corvette in the garage. Maybe the first time I caught my car obsession at a tender age.

A few months ago I saw one of the Turner brothers in the local waffle house having lunch with his little boy. Really nice dude remembered me. lives in his dad's old house. I asked about the vette said his late dad had sold it years ago. You're right about robert johnson. His songwriting ability FAR outstripped anything coming out of the mississippi delta in that era. Dylan has said its like some ancient God came down from the star's and used mr.Johnson to teach us mere mortals how to structure a song.
