With the delay on getting parts this last year to complete the car, I finally got the wife's '72 out this last weekend for a nice 70 mile cruise with no issues. The wife is very happy with her weekend cruiser. I want to Thank everyone for helping with my questions during the restoration of my first E Body. I'm pretty happy with the way she turned out.

Love that colour. Always have. Painted a superbird for a friend that colour years ago. It sure got a lot of attention everywhere it went.

Are the rubber spacers behind the bumperettes missing?
Otherwise, it looks like a sweet ride!😎
Looks like a 1973-1974 rear bumper with a spacer and missing the bumperettes, which pushes it out too far. It needs a 1972 bumper with the correct, bumperette black fillers.

There's no need to be critical of or nit pick other member's rides.

Here is a 74 bumper on my dad's 74 360 Cuda. As you can see them bumper sticks out a good inch farther than the early years. Winchester does not have that bumper arrangement.

Absolutely and you’re correct. For whatever reason (maybe it’s the angle and shadowing of the pic), his bumper doesn’t seem flush. If I’m wrong, then I’m wrong...

your car looks great. would like to see more pix of it. my brother had a '73 in that color but after an accident destroyed the front end, he rebuilt it using a tilt 1 piece fiberglass front clip. he also put in a '70 grille because he liked the look of it better. during the rebuild he also put in an 8 point roll cage for safety because of the built 440+6 he added. he got it to driving stage [we took it to the '82 Car Craft Street Machine Nationals without side glass or interior, just seats and shifter] but never finished it before he sold it to buy a house.
