Does anyone have the cable that goes from the control slider to the heater box (i.e. the low / high temp one, not the heat / defrost one!) - it's for a '73 Challenger. Mine has snapped off behind the control slider. Thanks

Thanks - I was hoping not to pay so much just for a cable, but that is useful info. I don't think my cable goes thru the firewall as it says that one does though, just under the dash to the heater box under the passenger side dash??

"Reproduction temperature control cable for 1970-74 Mopar E-body models. This cable runs from the temperature knob through the firewall and attaches to the heater control valve. Designed and manufactured to replicate the original exactly, each cable will fit and install as original."

On my 73 'Cuda the cable goes thru the firewall out to the heater control valve which is mounted near the firewall on the passenger side fender. Hope this helps.

Thanks - I'll have to double-check, but I'm sure on my Challenger I could trace the cable to a valve under the dash!
