I am looking for the headlight mounting panel for my 73 Challenger that is in the process of a restoration. I am kicking myself for not buying a new one back in the mid 80s when the dealer still had them. I was just a kid with little $ (it was around $600 back then) and spent what I had on the motor and trans. Fast forward 35+ years and now I need to find one. Does anyone have one or know of a place that does?

Thanks for any help/leads!

Thanks. I saw that but that's more than I want to spend.
Here's a complete one. This one allows you to make an offer. $600 in 1985 is the equivalent of $1500 today.
That's the going rate now unless you find a broken one needing work. I hope you find one.

Terry,

Thanks again as I made the deal for this piece this weekend. 1 part at a time and this car is getting back together.

Take care,
Cary

You're welcome and just keep at it. It's rare to see that complete grille panel anymore not all broken up. Good to see a fellow Washington state Mopar enthusiast get parts. I'm in Kennewick.

Well I received my HL panel on Sunday evening as the gentleman personally delivered it from Sacramento to my place about 45 mins south of Seattle! I thought it was coming from UPS or somebody else but when my doorbell rang Sunday eve I opened the door and the gentleman said I have your Dodge Challenger HL assy panel. I almost fell over but he does this kind of thing often it sounds like. He's retired and likes road trips so this gave him an excuse to get on the highway. He's a real nice guy that loves Mopars and Corvettes so we got along great. I wish I knew he was coming as i would have had dinner or something else planned out since he had been on the road for so long. Totally caught me off guard but in a great way. We talked for about 30-45 mins and then he was off to deliver some Challenger trim to someone in Reno on his way home. Man I felt lazy after seeing this man's commitment! Anyway Terry thanks again for the tip on this part and if you're ever at Pacific Raceways or around the track hit me up as I live about 10 mins from the track and maybe we can meet up. Gotta love the Mopar community. They're commitment is like nowhere else!

Cool, I have a couple of these out in storage. I had no idea they were bringing this kind of money. 10 years ago you couldnt give them away.
