I have a 1972 Challenger with relocated springs and 275/60 "R" Drag Radials.
I just recieved my Super Stock springs this week. I am building a 512" with TFS heads and before I select the solid roller cam and intake/carb, convertor, setup I was wondering what E.T./MPH these will work to before I go any farther. I have a few convertors, cams, intake/carbs to choose from, and a transbrake too. Street mostly with an occasional strip session. I am expecting high 9s on the motor, but I have a TON of nitrous stuff too......

I would think with frame connectors/roll bar, the SS springs should get you in the 10's
9's might require a 4-link?....My 2c

Yup. Got bar and connectors, and since I (I own a machine and fab shop) can convert it to a cage, but don't want to. I really want 9 something on the motor and whatever on the "bottle."
I have made a career of running many of my "sleepers", getting one pass and kicked out, for no cage or bar, and want to continue that trend with this ride. Optimally I want to beat the time of my 68 Nova, 9.68 @ 141 with mufflers, no tubs, no traction bars, or roll bar, and drove to the track (38 miles.)
I had the local spring company build me custom springs for all of my leaf spring cars before they went boobs up. These are my first "factory" springs, but much like what I used to have built.
The Nova was my street car for 4 years back in 1999.
In my defense, the tech guy asked me how fast I thought it would run, I replied low 10s or high 9s.
He laughed. A lot.
The track manager and tech guy met me on the return road.....
The funniest part is the tech guy was an insurance agent.
He was laughing and said he was glad that he wasn't MY agent.
I reminded him that he IS.
No more laughing.....
From him anyway....
We used to have two tracks, so I got to get two passes. Only one track now.
I want to make the one pass count!
I'm too old to want to climb over a cage in a street car.
