1972 Cuda 340. Modified with Edelbrock Torker Manifold, Holley double pumper, TTI headers & exhaust. Other dress up goodies also. Complete numbers matching car; I am the original owner. Bought it in May of 1972.

1971 Cuda 340 Torq 727, all original in the process of being refreshed. Only 18,000. Arlen Vanke insisted on improving how it ran. This little baby stepped on a few 383's and a couple 440's. With the re-build (nothing visible), we think the dyno will show that this 340 makes 355 hp, hopefully a little more.

Mine is an original 340 car. I have made it into an R/T clone & will have a 528" Hemi now.

340 A66 Challenger Vert

Have a 70 340 A66 convertible, automatic. Owned since 1980. Finally now starting to work on the car (REALLY)
Love the 340 small blocks: they produce good power with no heavy weight over the front end.
Working on the brakes and getting the engine running at the current moment.
Very early Oct, 1969 production, still has the 340 decals instead of emblems on the bulge hood. (have reproduction decals thanks to Matt)
Downloaded a picture of the car when I attended the North East Hemi Owners Association meet in 1981. Was in better shape back then!
Engine pic is current w original air cleaner

I am building a 71 Barracuda that I plan to put in a 5.9 Magnum, with carb and dist. to make it look like an older small block. Not a 340, but is a small block.

I have a slightly warmed 340 in my 72. I was told by my rebuilder he found heads from a AAR on it. I think they are original.

Here's my tired original 71,000 mile 340. I know, I know......but I like the orange air cleaner better than the old black one, it's in the shed for when the day comes that I get rid of the car.006.jpg

I have run 340's in most over the years. Currently working on a want to be AAR. You name the year and I can find a part that fits. 68 block, x heads and six pack. Oh well, fun to drive and work on!
