I need someone a lot more intelligent than myself to make a cam recommendation for the following. This is a hot street and strip car, automatic 727 trans (upgraded). Torque converter will be dependant on
final decision on camshaft. Want instantaneous off idle response. low end torque, more important than top end power. Want to thank all for any information about this quest.
This is an inquiry as to what would be the heart of my build (camshaft), which is as follows:
Mopar-callies block, bore 4.5 inches
Callies crank 4.25 Stroke
Heads Trickflow 270 With Max wedge ports 78cc chamber
Intake Mopar edelbrock 6 Pack modified and port matched for max wedge heads (I Know not the best choice, selfish reasons)
Carbs Modified Holly carbs with tune-able Jet type adjustment on all 3
Compression Ratio 10.5
Max lift on Heads .700
Harland Sharpe 1.6 Rockers
Diamond Pistons 24cc dish, valve pockets for .700 roller
Rear Gear 3.55
