Indy modman blower intake for small block

Hey guys putting a small block magnum motor with a 671 blower. Using an Indy modman intake. I only have 2 inches between the blower and intake for a thermostat housing. Wondering if anyone has run into this and what they did.

I'd make one that comes out the front instead of up and down. Easy enough if you can weld or have a milling machine. I don't know if anyone makes one like that.

how far does the blower overhang the thermostat area ? No personal experience with the modman but...

Meziere makes a low profile housing -

Water Neck, Low Swivel 360 degree, fits Chevy and BB Mopar

Or you can try a slant six housing - not sure how tall they are but definitely cheaper and worth looking into

Tony72 I see it’s been awhile since this post but I’m in the middle of the same ordeal could use some help if you could ? That thermostat housing also distributor clearance I’m in process of bench gathering parts before I break down the car I’m telling you these blower companies are a pain to weed through to get straight answers
