LCA compatibility

It was recently brought to my attention that my LCAs that I bought a few years ago might not be correct? I know they came off of a 66 satellite, this is how they were advertised. Can anybody confirm if these will work or not?

"1962 to 1972 B-body cars, Charger, Coronet, Road Runner, GTX,Super Bee, Satellite, Belvedere, and all the other B body cars since the invention of the B body line.
And also for 1970-1974 Barracuda's and Challenger's."

With sway bar tabs or without?
If without, yes they will fit your car. They have a profile bump on the arm face which would require notching the aftermarket sway bar tabs , before welding on. With no sway bar, they will work fine.
The seller discription ,while accurrate, is also inaccurate. But commentary in a for sale thread is not allowed. I've been reprimanded for calling out inaccuracies.
A policy that hurts people who trust the forum for knowledge.

But you most likely had non sway bar control arms, so were yours damaged?

Non-sway bar version is what I bought. Nothing wrong with mine that I know of, I just wanted to have a set ready to install when I tear the whole thing apart.

Would you foresee any problems with welding in a set of sway bar tabs?

Thanks for the help, truly truly appreciated. Trying to close in on getting this project finished by Summer

I hope you will add a sway bar. The process of redoing the original control arm pivot is so easy, that I would think it could all be performed while cleaning the rest of your suspension.
But yes, you can add a tab to either.

It's a base model slant 6, so my originals never had it anyways, so this will make it a little bit easier since they are already off of the vehicle to weld in the tabs. I have all new suspension for the front ready to go, with the exception of me considering upgrading the torsion bars while I'm in there as the slant had the smallest one possible, not sure on that one yet, but if I'm going to do it I only want to do the whole thing once and not have to go back to it down the road, LOL.

While you're welding sway bar tabs, weld a few 1/8" thick by 1.00" wide strips across the two lower flanges. This will stiffen up the LCA and make your car handle even better! You can also buy the stiffening plates online.
