I am looking for a dash pad to get refinished for my 73 Challenger as I will have it modified for a roll bar. If you have a usable core that you would like to sell please lmk and maybe we can work something out.

I modified mine and went through the dash pad for my A pillar bars also. I am sure the purist will cringe. You will be surprised of the angle of the A pillar bars it is more like a 9" slit through the pad.

That dash pad job looks great. That is perfect! Did you do that or did a shop do that for you? With only 1 shot at getting it right I don't have the confidence to cut my dash pad up on my first try of putting in a roll bar. I have a 8 pt that I'm installing and I will have a shop add the halo and the A pillar bars. I haven't decided on 10 or 12 pt. yet. Again that turned out perfect. Very nice and thanks for giving me more to think about! Ha ha

I did it. I cut a piece of thick plastic the shape of the top of the dash. Laid it on top of the dash. (With windshield out). Cut and trimmed the plastic around the bars until I liked the fit. Then laid it back on the dash pad. Used a hole saw to get it started and then a jigsaw and carbide Burr to finesse as needed.
Did the same at the rear speaker tray.
