I just joined the board. I've been a mopar guy since I could drive. Owned nothing but mopars. I've always wanted a cuda. I am now 30 years old and in a spot where I could spend 20-25k on a car. I'm not to picky. I'm not looking to get a #s matching car or museum piece. What do you guys think I could find in that price range. I've looked around on the net. Most cars are priced out of my league and there's not many for sale. 72-74 car would be fine. Would like something nice and driveable. What y'all think. I'm in the NC area if that has anything to do with it.

Thanks for the response. I hate that I had to work last week or I would have checked at the auto fair. I seen one in a classifieds that is fairly close and in my price range. Right at 20k. Been restored few years back. I might try too see if I can find some time to check it out. I looked on the blue book on classic cars. Does that price reflect the options that are on the car now? Or if the car is in original options? If it started life as a /6 auto and now it has a v8 4spd. How does that reflect on actual value?

I was looking for a challenger or cuda for about a year and then I finally put a wanted ad on craigslist for one and someone responded and now I'm the proud owner of a 70 challenger convertible.
If you do that place the ad in the cars section, not the wanted section.
Good luck, it takes time to find a good car that's not way overpriced or a POS.
