Has anyone attempted to lower, or know how to lower, the front of a '71 Challenger with the standard torsion bar set up? I found a pic on line that I'm trying to model mine after, and it looks like the front is lower a couple of inches just looking at the bottom of the fender compared to middle of the wheel. I know this may be a optical illusion, but I am considering how hard, if its even possible, to lower the front end a bit.

Do you have headers ? Reverse offset front rims? Before you spend money and resent it, try to loosen up the torsion bars. Count how many turns that you loosen it so that you can put it back without affecting the alignment. This way you can check ground clearance with your exhaust and if your tires will rub when turning. What looks good in a picture is not always practical in daily driving.

Wise words, there speaks the voice of experience :)

Thanks, yes I have headers but no offset rims. I seem to have plenty of clearance both with the headers and tires. I will give it a couple of turns and see what happens.
