Sandblasting metal interior trim today. Beautiful Ohio weather, can start making progress. Questions should I paint, or prime and paint? I primed the 2 lower window trim, because it was pretty rusty. The other pieces are of good quality.

I think I'd lean towards just painting them the finish color and skipping the primer, you might lose some of the detail otherwise.

I used SEM self etching black primer and SEM Trim Black and got very good results on most of my metal interior parts. It’s best to wipe the bare metal down prior with a paint prep solvent prior to applying paint.
