know where these go, but what is purpose--extension of rain rail? found screw hole on right side, but left is gone. tried to find it, can't remember if it was bond-oed over. may have to drill a new one once positioned.....next---how far down does the rainfall go down in the front. lined up pieces according to the weathering mark..there is a bit of adjustment. vinyl has to be trimmed

Yes, an extension to help hold the vinyl and make it a little more aesthetic pleasing.

Left hole is the same as the right. It goes under the windshield trim.
