I recently bought a 1970 Challenger which originally came with 14" steelies but those were removed a long time ago and replaced with rallys BUT the owner saved the poverty caps so I got them with the car . I plan to refit a set of steelies and my question is will the reproduction 15" steelies fit these poverty caps? Also, what do you guys recommend for tires? It's a 340 four speed car , won't need any huge tires.. Thanks for any help!

to my knowledge the caps fit all wheels sizes
I refuse to use BFG garbage , I like the Nitto drag radials for the rear , 235/60 15 fit the front , I would like to find a short 245 or 255 50 for the front though , rear the 255 60 or the 275 60 fit without spring relocation but the 275 is very tall , I use the 275/50 Nitto there are very few choices for muscle car tires left unfortunately .

Thanks so much for the info . I will move ahead with the repro 15" steelies . I really like the Goodyears like would be found on the T/A but holy crap I'm not paying for those . I'll check out the Nittos thanks for the tip.
