New to the forum. It’s meant to be a father/son project, but will likely involve some outside expert assistance. The car is a 1971 Barracuda Gran Coupe, 318 auto. Panels from the front fenders forward will need to be replaced, no interior at all. Subframe, floor, trunk pans, and rear quarters are solid. The build is planning to be a restomod, maybe 392 or Hellcat with a Tremec 6 speed. Just wondering if y’all had some experience with a build like this, and had suggestions for a starting point to begin on the right foot? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to FEBO from the desert! Nice father/son project. You've come to the right place as several folks here have swapped in the Gen III hemi! By the way, I like the cat prints on the fender and hood! I have 3 shop cats and I have prints, hair and dust everywhere, but no mice, rats, bugs etc.

Welcome to the site from Michigan!
Looks like a very solid Cuda including that grill. Is it from South Dakota?

Welcome
Are you going to be selling the front panels?

Are they rotted or what’s the reason for getting rid of them?

They will be available if somebody wants them. There is some rust just in front of the doors. Also wanted to add the ‘cuda style gills, and it looks more cost and time effective to buy new fenders, and than to repair and cut up the old ones to install the gill kit.
