1st question how much fuel is in the tank? I would feed it from a gas can to see if it will start from there or did you already try that? 2nd how are you priming it? The carb or lines?

If there is fuel in the tank, the first place I would look is to verify the pump is working. You didn't forget the push rod did you?

X2, check and see if you have fuel at inlet and outlet sides of the fuel pump.

Seems unlikely, but many years ago I replaced a mechanical fuel pump on my Cuda and couldn't get the car to run. We eventually traced things back to the new (probably rebuilt) mechanical fuel pump and figured out that it was put together backwards, so was sucking on the outlet side and pumping on the inlet side. Could have just swapped the hoses and made it run, but we took it back to NAPA for a replacement that worked as intended.

You may want to reconsider how you're routing that fuel line...
Good chance the hood or something is going to pinch that rubber fuel line and cause a leak that's going to spray onto the really hot header pipe.
That's if the pump can actually push the fuel the distance you're asking it to. Looks to me like one massive air lock.

Seriously, you need to correct that set up before something bad happens...

I had air leaks, when I got pressure in the line I was able to find the leaks. I’m tightened up now and ready to try it. I sure hope it’s a good runner. I have a rebuilt 70 383 hp in it.
