Hello all. Thanks for having me here. I’ve been a “Challenger Guy” for a long time. My first car was a ‘70 340, 4 speed in Hemi Orange. I bought that car on my own with paper route money when I was 17 In 1977. Like many of you I’m sure, I wish I had that car today. Currently, I’m the proud owner of a 2015 SRT Challenger, 6 Speed in Sublime Green. My first modern Challenger was a 2009 R/T 6 Speed in Hemi Orange of course.

You may have seen a thread here about a Challenger ride to Cisco, UT to meet on June 11, 2023. Well, I’m the one that is trying to get this organized. By the way, ALL Mopars are welcome.

A short bio….. I’m 62, married for 40 years, 4 grown kids. I took my now wife on our first date in that 70! Also have a grandson and another on the way next month. I’m retired from a metropolitan fire dept. in the Bay Area after a 3O year career.

I will post pictures of the cars soon. Again, thanks for having me.

Welcome to the site , I also bought my first 70 Challenger 440 4 spd orange in 77 at 17 years old , sold it 2 years later & regretted that so much I bought anther in 80 & still have it !

Had mine for 5 years. It would be really great to still have it. I can’t remember seeing a vintage Challenger on the road for a long time. I did see a nice Cuda about two years ago. Seeing one now is a car show thing unfortunately. They have such great lines…

Perhaps if I win the lottery! I have a ‘78 Trans Am and a ‘55 Chevy panel truck to work on. They both run but need some things done. However, I’d love to have a ‘70 Challenger some day. I have always been attracted to E body lines and styling. I think they are some of the most beautiful cars ever made.

Welcome to the forum from the east coast. There are some really nice cars to be seen in here on the site. I have a 73 340 Cuda resto mod. It wasn't all original when I bought it, so I modified it a bit more.

I keep data for the A66 Challenger Registry on FB.
Any old registrations or insurance cards would have your serial number.
It would be interesting to see if someone still owns your old car!

ME TOO! Cars are like girl friends.Would like to have them all.Big little short or tall would like to have them all. I need a bigger garage! 30'x40' and a 26'x26' just don't cut it. 60'x 100' might do.

Welcome the the site. Don't remember if I bought my 73 in 77 or 78 but I still have it. Just finished a multiyear rotisserie restoration. Also took my wife of 36 years on our first date in the car.
