Hello everyone, my name Scott (35years young) I Live in Sanger CA. I recently purchased my first challenger. A 1970 318 factory 4 speed I am told.
I have always wanted a Vanishing point clone, so that is my plans. Its a pretty decent project that I hope to tackle most of the restoration myself.
I'm very much looking forward to working on it. I'm told the side scoops are pretty sought after and I will be removing, them and selling them, also I will be
removing the luggage rack as well.

Scott, welcome to FEBO from the desert! Interesting 70 Challenger with several add ones! Thanks for sharing pictures! Do you know if the luggage tank was original? Might be an M91 on the fender tag.

Welcome to FEBO. Take note some 70 parts are different, like the mirror. Everything there would be good.

Howdy from Colorado.
Cool car!
The fender tag readout will answer several of your questions.
Snap a picture of that and I am sure someone here will be glad to decode it and let you know what your car was originally.
I like the scoops.....

Pretty cool car, especially for being a deputy coupe A93 optioned car.
This has some unique items since it's a deputy coupe.
Do your rear windows roll down?
Since it is optioned with bucket seats but has a D13 manual transmission I think this would not have had a console. Are there console brackets or a console?
I like the non console stick's. Opens up the front sitting area a bunch.

Wow thanks for the break down. No console presently. I’ve never heard of a deputy coupe…that’s not a police package, as in deputy??

Thanks for all the help

No, not a police package.
The A93 was a very low line base model car.
It included
B&E body coupe package
Vinyl trim, Rubber floor covering (never seen on an E body),
Fixed Quarter windows w/ bright trim on forward edge of glass, 3 spoke steering wheel w/ horn button, E78x14" tires and single horn are standard, Bright grille, Astrotone finish on lower deck finish panel with bright moldings.
I have a BH23C1B that is an A93 car but it is just called a "coupe" package.
The dodge term is a "deputy" coupe package.

That's why I asked if your rear windows roll down. Most folks change out the mechanism's so that the rear windows roll down.
If you do that, I would gladly purchase the plugs that go in the window crank holes of the rear side panels. I need a set. Yours being a 70 will be textured plastic whereas the 71, usually, had chrome round inserts.
And I had to mention the vinyl rubber flooring as I would love to find/see a deputy coupe that actually had that vinyl flooring. Never seen or heard of one to this day.

Scott, welcome to the site from Michigan!
Those quarter panel side "scoops" are from a '71 Challenger R/T and the fender side "scoops" are from a 72-74 Challenger Rallye.
We would like to see some shots of the interior.

I had a EV2 Hemi orange 71' Challenger Deputy that had no options. It was a 225 1bbl slant six car, manual 4 wheel drum brakes, manual steering, flat hood, bench seat, manual 3 speed on the floor, rubber floor mat, fixed rear quarter windows w/chrome plugs, manual foot pump for wiper pissers.
