Hi im new to this group I own a fc7 AAR 4 speed , I saw a previous post on vented gas caps , my car needs cranking after sitting awhile don’t believe it has the correct gas cap, this is the same issue as the other members post but it didn’t have his results after putting on the correct vented cap, any ideas ?

How long of awhile? A few weeks or several months? Two ideas are fuel quality and carburetion.
There will be enough fuel in the carburetor float bowls to start the engine and run for 30 seconds or more. So I don't think your gas cap, or fuel flow from the tank is an issue, in this case. Even if you had a fuel flow problem, when it was running, and you shut it down, the carburetors are full of fuel. Fuel cannot be sucked out of the carbs.
Some of our ethanol blended fuels in California don't store well, and the alcohol component can take on moisture over time in storage. It may be possible over a wet winter season of not driving, the carbs may accumulate up to 1-2cc (mL) of water in each carb. If so, this will take some cranking to clear it out.
If you're learning how long (in storage) it takes for this problem to occur, you could test the theory out. There are fuel treatments to resolve the ethanol water problem, (StaBil 360 is one product) and you could try using the fuel additive one time on a full tank of fuel. Add it. Drive it some, then store it and wait. Once your sure enough time has passed to create the issue, give it a try and see if anything different happens on startup.
The other idea is choking. Presuming you're running a factory OEM setup, and everything is tuned and adjusted properly, are you setting the automatic choke before you begin cranking the cold engine? If so, have you confirmed the choke closes properly during this initial startup? It may be possible you have a choke not fully doing its job. As you crank, maybe you're giving it varying throttle and its the accelerator pump shots giving it that extra fuel to start.
