New member here bought a 73 ralleye challenger last month. I also have a 69 barracuda. Quick question I don't like the t handle auto shifter can I use a 70 round woodgrain knob ?

Welcome to the site from Arkansas! Nice looking Mopars. I’m not sure on the 70 model shifter, I thinks it’s different from yours. You could probably use the earlier assembly though. I’m sure some others will jump in that know. Manual shift, pistol grip in mine.

Welcome to the site from Michigan! Nice pair of Mopars

For your question, you might get more responses if you post it in the "transmission and drive train" forum.

Nice cars ,Welcome
Yes you can use the 70 type but you need the complete shifter not just the handle , even the later Cordoba / Magnum ball shifters work .

Welcome to FEBO from the desert! 70 Challengers and Barracudas are unique in a lot of ways! The shifter being one of them.
