I'm about to start my install of TTi's on my 1973 challenger. Any opinions on whether I should use the stock studs on the head or pull them and use the bolts they gave in the bag? Do the studs come out easily if i choose this route? How about thread locker of some kind?
Thanks in advance for any help

Welcome to FEBO! Some one here should be able to help you out. Don't know for sure about BB but I know on SB some of the studs go in to the water jacket. Think it is the end two on each side. Have seen them leave the studs in where there is water and put bolts in the other holes. Think it is hard to get the header on and hooked over the studs is why they give you the bolts.

Thats on a SB A body so take that with a grain of salt. LOL
Some one will be along who has put a set on a BB E body and can give you the skinny.

Good luck.

You should be ok using the studs as I did on a 66 B-body BB last year. Yes they screw into the water jacket. Make sure your motormounts are in good shape so you don't have any clearance issues.
