Edelleyblock called it installation error. I guess the builder (not me) put the heads on upside down or something. I bought the engine (498") as an interim deal to repair and use between the 440 currently in my 72 Challenger (for sale soon), and the 512 real go fast motor that I havent had time to build, but I do have most of the parts for.....
Yes I am a semi retired about 50 years in business, machinist/ builder/ owner. I still have my shop, but no employees. I try to balance working on our own restorations and keeping my wife happy!
