I've been looking at the K-Frame part numbers in all of the 1970-1974 parts catalogs (Part Reference Code: 23-32-17) and I noticed that while 1970 and 1971 non-hemi V8 cars shared the same K-Frame part number as 1973 V8's (P/N: 3583 074), 1972 and 1974 each have their own part numbers (P/N: 3583 078 and 3726 799, respectively) for the V8 K-Frames. What is different about these K-Frames with different part numbers?
Also, in 1970, there is an additional K-Frame part number (P/N: 3466 477) shown to have also shipped with 318, 383, and 440 cars, in addition to the 3583 074 part number mentioned earlier. What was different about the 3466 477 K-Frame from the 3583 074 and why didn't it ship with the 1970 340 specifically?
