I’ve got a 1972 Challenger with manual four speed. The overcenter clutch spring is noisy so I’m replacing it and its spring pin. The pin is worn and may be the source of the noise. Looking for tips on getting the old pin out and the new one in. Is it held in place by “C” retaining clips..or? Thanks.

Yes. If you find wallered out hole weld a washer in the right place . Stretch spring with floor jack.
