My son just got a '64 New Yorker Salon. Unfortunately, the engine had already been swapped (it currently has a '64 361 under the hood). We were working on the fender tag and ran into a bit of a roadblock. For the trim we came up with blue interior, cloth and leather combination. Exterior (paint) code is BB9, or Formal black top and bottom with the "9" being shown as "option silver 300". I haven't been able to find anything on the web to explain what this is. Does anybody here know? The car seems to be wearing its original paint, and the interior is largely original also (though that needs serious help!). Pretty nice car over-all for his first driving project. :icon_cool:
